Brian Jensen 6 (The big Dane had a quiet afternoon with little to do. Made a decent save, diving to his right early on, but looked like the ball was curling wide anyway. Caused one little flutter in the second half when he dropped a cross and quickly grabbed it again).

Mal Benning 6 (Steady afternoon, was involved in the final goal when he got the ball up to Matt Green to set up Craig Westcarr. Stopped a great Crawley chance with a tackle on Roarie Deacon in the box).

Mitch Rose 7 (Got through masses of hard work once more, avoided a booking and got his reward with his first goal for the club).

Krystian Pearce 6 (Not too busy with the lack of Crawley attack but did come up with a superb tackle to half Matt Harold after the Crawley man had got away from him and headed for goal).

Adam Chapman 7 (Much better display than the previous week. His long throws were always a threat and he almost scored an early goal with a dipping 20 yard volley).

Chris Clements 8 (Once again immaculate and in control of operations. The ball he sent crossfield to Craig Westcarr to start the move for the third goal was simply breathtaking).

Matt Green 7 (Off the mark at home at last and so unlucky not to score more, clipping the post and a real handful all game).

Craig Westcarr 7 (A more central position to give Green backing, Westcarr had one of his best games so far, scoring with a cool finish and creating another).

Nathan Thomas 8 (This is the electric winger everyone was expecting him to be. He tormented Crawley all afternoon, scored a superb goal that involved anticipation, power and deadly finishing. Went for goal from 40 yards on one occasion to show his confidence).

Ryan Tafazolli 7 (Dominant in the air at both ends of the pitch but rarely tested defensively).

Nicky Hunt 7 (Hunt got forward a lot more in this game, looked confident on the ball and played some excellent passes. Took a nasty studding on his ankle from Gwion Edwards’ awful 50th minute challenge, which saw the Crawley man rightly sent off, but managed to battle on for another half-hour).
