I’m still stunned that we didn’t get at least a point against Bristol Rovers, and maybe even all three points.
It still shocks me that I’m sat here saying we lost 2-1 in what was an absolutely unbelievable game.
The constant cheating, diving and rolling around like cry babies from Bristol Rovers was something else and they were right up there in their game management with Oxford.
The way they played was right up there with Crawley and Newport for being the worst team we have played so far this season.
You don’t have to look far from their sending off where their player blatantly dived on the floor to try and get a penalty, which in the game was probably the only thing the referee did right.
It makes a change that a very inept, shocking ref didn’t fall for the penalty as others have done at our ground before.
After talking to people about Pearce’s straight red and Hunt’s second yellow I have to say I’ll accept they were maybe right.
But as there wasn’t any good video footage to see the incident. I’m not going to say anymore about them.
Both players will be a huge miss that is for sure. We also have to wait and see whether the “Beast” Brian Jenson and left-back Malvind Benning will be fit for Tuesday after basically playing the last five minutes on Saturday with seven men.
I hope both players are ok and are fit to play Tuesday. Come on the Beast and Mal.
After talking to a few people as well I do think Matt Green is badly out of form, I can’t fault him at all for his effort, but he probably is trying a little bit to hard.
Maybe Yussuf coming in for him for a game might re-ignite Greenie back to the Greenie we know.
Im going to end this now by saying even though we lost, the passion and commitment was absolutely fantastic and I think this team are in it all together, which is what I pay my money to watch!!.
So thank you Adam for getting the team like this so far and hopefully come the end of this week I’m smiling instead of being angry.
