Backing the Stags... while on the move

The traditional way to show support has always been through replica shirts, scarves and keyrings... but now comes the ‘Stagmobile’.

The mobility scooter is decked out in Mansfield amber and blue and features official club logos.

The scooters will be demonstrated and sold by Mansfield Mobility, who are based on Ellesmere Road in Forest Town.

In return, they will donate £250 for every one sold and the Stags’ commercial manager Paul Nyland is delighted the deal has been struck.

“I’d like to say a massive thank you to Mansfield Mobility Centre for allowing us to brand one of their products with what is an excellent aid for those who need a mobility scooter,” he said.

“We hope the ‘Stagmobile’ is a huge success.”

Mansfield Mobility owner Gary Hagan is a keen Mansfield fan and hopes that supporters will latch onto his idea.

He said: “The product has been carefully selected and designed in partnership with the football club and we believe it is a great deal for the club and fans alike.

“This is a totally unique scooter that will not be available anywhere else, but while it is totally unique, it is also very competitively priced against similar products.”

The scooter was launched at the Stags’ regular “Evening with” on Monday, giving fans the chance to have a first look.
