Mansfield Town striker Craig Westcarr joins Southport on loan
Out-of-favour Mansfield Town striker Craig Westcarr has gone out on loan to Vanarama National League side Southport in search of first team football.
The 31-year-old will stay with the Merseyside club until April 30, though the Stags do have a recall clause written into the deal.
Speaking to www.mansfieldtown.net, manager Adam Murray said: “Craig has not featured in our recent plans.
“Craig wants to be playing regular football and has gone to Southport to get further game time under his belt.”
