“We’re trying (to bring some players in)," Clough said.
"We’ve put a couple of offers in for loan players today, so we’ll wait to hear back in the next 24 hours or so.”
Skipper Ollie Clarke and James Perch remained sidelined last night after both missing the weekend's FA Cup defeat at Cheltenham.
Defender Perch has been suffering from illness, while Clarke injured his knee in the victory over Salford.

“All being well, they should both be available for Saturday (versus leaders Carlisle United), but we’ll see how we go.”
