The Stags host League Two rivals Barrow tomorrow (Tuesday) and Walsall on Saturday at One Call Stadium.

“I would say the next two games are vital to us, if we’re to build on the Morecambe and Cheltenham games," Coughlan told iFollow Stags after Saturday's draw.

“If that’s to be considered as a good point today, it’ll only be a good point if we win our next two games.

“If we look at Cheltenham today, they’ve been building for two seasons. I can’t emphasise how difficult it is to bring a new group together – after what we’ve been through in the last two months, I have to pat them (Mansfield players) on the back.

“We’re still in there fighting and digging deep. But I’d like to start turning some draws into wins, as we should have more points on the board."

Looking towards the Barrow clash, Coughlan – who praised his side's character at Cheltenham – added: “It is a big game. They’re all big games. I don’t want to heap pressure on the lads, but they know the script.”
