Mansfield Town close the One Call Stadium after virus advice

Mansfield Town have decided to close the One Call Stadium with immediate effect until at least Friday, 3rd April

Stags have moved quickly following the Prime Minister’s advice to avoid ‘non-essential’ travel and contact with others to curb coronavirus.A club statement said: “The well-being of our staff and supporters is of paramount importance and we advise everyone to keep up to date with Government guidance during this time.

“The closure includes every facility within the stadium; including the ticket office, club shop, Sandy’s Bar & Kitchen and all of its offices.“The posting of retail orders will be delayed and the club will contact those who have placed order as soon as possible.“The club’s entertainment events have also been cancelled during the aforementioned time, which include: Green Date – Friday, 20th March; Mother’s Day Lunch – Sunday, 22nd March; Hoofers’ Comedy Club – Friday, 3rd April; and Westend Jerseys – Saturday, 4th April.“All private bookings in the hospitality areas have been cancelled.“All staff will endeavour to work from home, where possible.

“The club will issue another update when necessary and wishes everyone well during this time.
