Pardington – who has worked alongside Wolves first teamers Rui Patricio and John Ruddy – has featured for the club’s under 18s and under 23s.

He also has first team experience with National League South side Dulwich Hamlet, saving twice in a penalty shootout on his debut against Corinthian Casuals in the Emirates FA Cup.Manager Nigel Clough said: “We wanted another goalkeeper to come in to give us some cover and Jamie fits the bill.

“We don’t have anyone between Aidan Stone and 17-year-old goalkeeper Maison Campbell.

“We needed someone in that age bracket to come in and train with the first team and we’re pleased to have Jamie on board.”
