Mansfield Town boss Nigel Clough praise for departing Forest youngster

Mansfield Town manager Nigel Clough has wished defender Kyle McAdam all the best after allowing him to return to parent club Nottingham Forest after half a season on loan with the Stags.
The 21-year-old has found first team opportunities hard to come by and Clough said: “When he came in pre-season he was one of the top few players that we had.
“He started the season but didn't quite take it on, got a couple of knocks and unfortunately has not ben able to recapture that early form.
“Like a lot of young players he now needs to go out and play. Hopefully he will get another loan for the second half of the season and go and show the sort of form he showed early on for us.
“He was brilliant to have around. But we have a strong left hand side now with Macca (Stephen McLaughlin) and Frazer (Blake-Tracy) fit, so we have good competition out there.
“It has all been done in conjunction with Forest and they are very happy with him going back and hopefully going out again.”
