Mansfield Town are moving in the right direction , says Ryan Sweeney

The Mansfield Town defender is adamant that the squad are showing improvements since the arrival of manager Graham Coughlan.

"I think since the gaffer's come in, it's all there to see that there's been improvements in terms of the fitness levels," Sweeney said at Tuesday’s press conference.

"The performance levels - collectively and individually - have gone up.

"We'd have liked to have had more points on the board since the gaffer's come in, I think our performances have warranted that.

"But at the end of the day we haven't got it and we need to keep going, finish the season strong and accumulate as many points and wins as possible."
