Northampton Town extended their winning run to six at the top of League Two after a 2-0 win at home to York City.

The two other teams in the division’s automatic places, Plymouth Argyle and Oxford United, didn’t play after trips to Yeovil Town and Exeter City were postponed respectively.

Bristol Rovers, in fourth, were also frustrated by the weather as their home match to Wimbledon was postponed - one of five called off around the grounds in the league.
