Kimberley MW slip up again as first half double secures win for Wisbech Town
It was another bad day at the office for play-off chasing Kimberley MW on Saturday as they lost 2-1 at home to Wisbech Town in the UCL Premier North.
That followed their sensational 7-5 local derby defeat at Eastwood CFC and was a third defeat in a row that has left them seventh, three points off the play-off places with a game in hand.

Wisbech won with two goals in nine first half minutes and Kimberley boss Ant Ward said: “With most games in the league postponed, this gave us a chance to get some valuable points on the board.
“But an experienced Wisbech side took home all three points.
“We didn’t start well in truth and found ourselves 1-0 down when a straight ball wasn’t dealt with and Luke Harris took advantage to give the visitors the lead.
“Nine minutes later we found ourselves two down when Ryan Lennon added another for Wisbech.
“It was a frustrating one as we had opportunities to stop the attack long before the ball went in the net.
“Second half we perhaps deserved something more from the game as we spurned a number of very good chances.
“These are the chances we would have lapped up earlier in the season.
“We did get a consolation late on through skipper Ryan Wheatley, but we possibly deserved more and now take the long journey to Skegness on Saturday.”
Eastwood CFC's game at Newark & Sherwood United was frozen off and the Red Badgers, who sit sixth, were due to get back into action on Tuesday night at home to Grantham Town, weather permitting. On Saturday they host AFC Mansfield.
Also off was Selston’s home Saturday Senior Trophy clash with Teversal, also due to a frozen pitch.
Selston were due to face Staveley MW in the Floodlit Cup in midweek before a CML Alliance South trip to Holbrook Sports on Saturday.
