Horrendous half-hour hits Wrens
For an hour the relegation-threatened Wrens, who remained 18th in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division, battled against third-placed Bridlington, sharing two goals.
The unmarked Chris Jenkinson gave Bridlington a 19th-minute lead at the near post from a short corner.

A minute later, however, the visitors were level when a mix-up allowed Matt Sykes to run through and score in an empty net.
The remainder of the half saw a fine Rainworth rearguard, which restricted Bridlington to few chances.
Rainworth showed more attacking intent in the opening minutes of the second half with Ryan Herbert and Sykes threatening the Bridlington goal in quick succession.

Two minutes later Rainworth allowed an innocuous ball to find Norfolk one-on-one with Ben Townsend and he made no mistake for the third.
Jenkinson was left unmarked to head his second for Bridlington in the 70th minute with the ball crossing the line after hitting the underside of the bar.
Rainworth briefly threatened in the 73rd minute, but Harris’s effort just cleared the bar.
