The Radfords celebrated ten years as Mansfield Town owners this week following a decade which has seen significant progress on and off the pitch.

And Coughlan was quick to pay a glowing tribute to John and Carolyn for their drive and commitment in taking Mansfield Town forward.

“The Radfords are vital for both the club and town, they have been different class,” he said.

“They are driven and supportive and really push you. They want better and have high standards.

“What they have put in place at this club is remarkable and I’m thankful for the opportunity.

“Every time you speak to them they always ask what they can do to help me and that is different class to me.

“I'm sure I speak for the squad and every fan or previous manager that they have been brilliant.

“To put together what they have is exceptional. No one has anything bad to say about them, ]they keep pushing you on and they are hungry for more.

“When they get one win they want another win. Great teams are built on that - they want success.”

The Radfords took over Stags on 29th September 2010 and quickly put the foundations in place to turn around the ailing fortunes of cash-strapped Stags.

Field Mill was purchased from former owner Keith Haslam by the Radfords in March 2012.

And they celebrated promotion to the Football League a season later after a memorable title win.
