Gary Brazil feels it's all coming together nicely for Forest

He was left thrilled after watching an on-song Forest side comfortably beat promotion-chasing Brighton 3-0 on Saturday.

It leaves Forest six points clear of the Championship drop zone ahead of Tuesday night’s home game with Brentford.

“We worked hard and had quality at key moments on Saturday. It was a good victory and the hard work is starting to pay off,” said Brazil.

“The fans were fantastic and it was great to sense that positive feeling inside the stadium on Saturday.

“We have plenty of attacking options, a brilliant young keeper and a back four that defended well. There’s lots of positivity.

“Chris Cohen handled the game tremendously and he allowed Matty Cash to break the lines and push forward.

“The players have bought into what we are doing and we are nearly back to a full compliment; they are in a good shape.

“We have tried to create stability and calmness at the club and everybody is happy working here. We are building the foundations.”

And he now has his eyes on three more points on Tuesaday night as Forest look to end any outside chances of relegation.

“He added: “It is not going to be an easy game tomorrow and we need to replicate what we did on Saturday. We need to show that energy.

“We haven’t thought about relegation as I know the quality of the players. They are confident at home and we look forward to it.

“We have players coming back from injury but they will have to fight to get their shirts. That competition is really healthy.

“Brentford get around the pitch well and have intelligent players. They attack in numbers so we can hurt them on the counter.”
