Mansfield Town's youngsters will travel to Fulham in the FA Youth Cup third round on Friday, 16th December (4pm kick-off).

The Stags breezed through the first two rounds against Bedworth United (3-0) and Dunkirk (5-2) to book this mouthwatering clash against category one academy side Fulham with the game set to be held at Motspur Park, the training ground of the West London club (KT3 6PT).

The match will be Fulham’s first in this season’s competition due to their category one status. Last year, the Cottagers reached the fourth round before being defeated 3-1 at home to Reading.

After two blank weekends, Stags’ youth team continue their defence of their EFL Youth Alliance league title this Saturday with a home match against York City (11am) at the Worksop Van Hire Stadium.

Our youth team’s last outing was the 5-2 FA Youth Cup victory over Dunkirk a fortnight ago and they have since had chance to recharge their batteries as they continue their defence of their EFL Youth Alliance league title.

Saturday’s match against the Minstermen will kick-off at 11am at the Worksop Van Hire Stadium, the home of Clipstone FC. Adult admission will be £3.

Stags still top the EFL Youth Alliance North East division on 25 points, two ahead of local rivals Notts County.

York have won just once in their last five games in all competitions when they triumphed 2-0 away at Chesterfield.
