Former Mansfield Town midfielder Colin Daniel has agreed a one year deal with Blackpool

The versatile midfielder will join the club once his contract expires at Port Vale, having made 55 appearances in two seasons for The Valiants.

He told Blackpool’s official club website: “I had a good few years at Port Vale and enjoyed my time there and made a lot of friends, but this is now a new challenge at Blackpool.

“Hopefully I can come here, do well for the team and we can push on for promotion and get this club back to where it should be.

“I’ve got a lot of memories of this league and I know what it takes to be up there and around the play-offs. Hopefully we can get promoted.”
