Ex-Stags man Chris Smith joins Heanor Town
Smith, who started his career at Leeds United, moved on to Reading as a youth player 17 years ago.
From there he went out on loan to York City before joining them on a free in 2001. He went on to captain the side during his spell there.

Hide AdA move to Tamworth followed before a season at Mansfield Town during 2010/11. He then returned to York until February 2014.
Halifax came calling in the second half of that season before a switch to Alfreton Town that summer for 16 months at the Impact Arena.
The now 34-year-old spent last season at Tamworth once more and boasts a career spanning three decades, making more than 250 appearances.
A statement on Heanor’s website read: “Chris is a proven winner and a leader, we are delighted to have him at the club.”
