Could Bristol Rovers boss Graham Coughlan be about to take over at Mansfield Town?
Bristol Rovers boss Graham Coughlan is being heavily linked with the now vacant Mansfield Town job, having reportedly told his players he would be leaving the League One club and is ready to take a job with the Stags.
Irishman Coughlan, 45, has been in charge of Rovers for the last year and guided them to fourth place in League One with a 2-1 win at Ipswich Town on Saturday.
However, the Bristol Post is reporting that Coughlan told his players after the match that he would be leaving the West Country club for personal reasons, with his family being based in Sheffield from where he commutes regularly.
Coughlan is also believed to be unhappy at Rovers and implied in today’s post match press conference that a lack of playing funds had led to him considering his future.
Stags parted company with John Dempster after the 1-1 draw at Crewe Alexandra on Saturday. READ MORE HERE.
