Clipstone made to pay in goal thriller

Clipstone were left scratching their heads after losing a five-goal thriller 3-2 at Grimsby Boroough in the NCEL Division One.

Clipstone goalkeeper Shaun Taylor, making his debut after signing the night before, put up a four man wall, but Grimsby’s No 10 Louis Grant hit a low drive which struck the inside of the post and went in.
