Clipstone FC make several backroom appointments after EGM

Several key positions behind the scenes have been filled and Richard Clarey has agreed to continue as interim chairman until the end of the season.

Andy Sumner (vice chairman), Jim McInotsh (treasurer), Malc Holmes (match day secretary), Ian Birtley (commercial manager) and Brad Rutter (youth and schools liaison officer) have been appointed.

While Mark Asher, Dan Walker and Nigel Spalding have been appointed communication managers.

Barry Clarke, Mick Flinton (hospitality/ground) and Phil Davies (ground) have been announced committee members.

A club statement confirmed it would review all positions at the end of the season.

“We thank Richard who is part of the Clipstone Welfare Trust for his support and leadership,” it added.

“The club are also searching for volunteers for some exciting positions that are currently vacant and will be advertising over the coming weeks.”
