Clipstone appoint new assistant

Richard Haigh has been appointed the assistant manager at Clipstone FC.

The 35-year-old is an experienced central defender who joined the Cobras in November 2016 and has Evo-Stik experience with Belper Town and Stocksbridge Park Steels.

Haigh, who will work alongside manager Billy Fox, also has NCEL experience with Parkgate and Maltby Main.

The club say Haigh’s football knowledge and contacts will be “vital as the Cobras seek to progress in the NCEL League Cup and finish as high as possible in the NCEL Premier League”.
