Cheltenham won their first ever game in the Football League at the One Call Stadium back in 1999.

But Johnson knows his side face a tough test against a Stags team who started their League Two season with an impressive 3-2 win at Newport.

Johnson said: “Mansfield got a really good result at Newport and there is not going to be an easy game in this division.

“There are plenty of goals in this division and plenty in Mansfield Town games.

“There are some good strikers out there and we have got to be careful of every team.

The Gloucestershire side started their league campaign with a home draw against Leyton Orient before following it up with a cup upset win over Chartlon athletic.

And Johnson says he is delighted with the mood in his camp.

He added: “We have got a busy schedule in the next few weeks and a lot of travelling.

“Some teams might not be looking forward to it because of bad results, but we certainly are.

“The players are buying into our game and we have found our game quite early, which is a positive.”
