It would have been the first time Carlisle had lost a game to frost in six years after temperatures fell below -4C overnight, but a noon inspection saw the referee declare the Bruton Park surface playable.
Stags, who travelled north last night, already have to make the long haul up there again a week on Tuesday for a Checkatrade Trophy tie.
