Blackpool vs Mansfield Town preview: Injury news, League One form, H2H record
Mansfield Town will face another test on the road this weekend when they take on Blackpool in League One.
Nigel Clough and his team will be in high spirits ahead of Saturday after picking up their first win away from home this season.
A statement victory against AFC Wimbledon marked Clough’s record-breaking 275th league match in charge and sets Stags up nicely for their trip to Bloomfield Road.
Mansfield looked strong in both attack and defence against Wimbledon and will hope this is the start of a positive run on the road.

League One form and H2H record
Stags’ 3-0 win over AFC Wimbledon sees them unbeaten in five League One games, with 15 points in the bank so far. Blackpool have 11 points and have lost three of their last five.
The Tangerines have won just once in League One since 29 August, when they beat Peterborough 4-0 at home. After suffering five defeats in six games, Ian Evatt’s side bounced back with a 2-0 win over MK Dons last time out.
Mansfield Town have turned a page since their shock 5-0 defeat to Reading and finally landed a long-awaited win away from home. Prior to their win over Wimbledon, Stags had managed just one point and three goals from four away fixtures.
Mansfield and Blackpool have played each other 44 times and it’s the Tangerines who have the better record of the two. They have won 19 times compared to Stags’ ten, with the other 15 meetings ending in draws.
Last season, Stags won 2-0 at home thanks to a brace from former loanee Jamie McDonnell. Blackpool then won their home fixture when a lone Niall Ennis goal in the first half was enough for the three points.
