The Reds go into the game after a good pre-season, only losing two of their seven games.

After having made numerous new signings in the summer, the squad seem to have gelled well since the start of pre-season, and look in good shape going into the new campaign.

Nicky Law has just one absentee from his new-look squad with winger John Johnston currently on the mend from a hamstring injury suffered against Notts County. He is back in light training though and could feature either against Lowestoft Town or Brackley Town next week.

The Reds open the campaign against a Bradford Park Avenue side who finished 13th in the Conference North last season and at the time of writing have signed six new players ahead of the new season.

Amongst their ranks are former Reds goalkeeper Jon Stewart and striker Massiah McDonald.
