The hosts were also reduced to ten men in the first half and with a dominant first half display, Alfreton were looking comfortable.

However, the ten-man syndrome reared its head again and Gloucester battled back hard in the second half with the Reds yet again conceding late on, an equaliser just seven minutes from the final whistle giving the hosts a point.

Manager Law is still positive despite not being able to register their first win of the season but he will have to make changes as he is without the services of defenders Sam Berry and Tom Allan, both serving one-match suspensions.
