Alfreton Town sign Callum Howe on loan from Scunthorpe United

The Doncaster-born centre-back has yet to figure for the Iron’s first-team, although he has enjoyed loan spells with Conference North sides Bradford Park Avenue and Gainsborough Trinity as well as Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side Frickley Athletic in the past.

And earlier this season he spent a month on loan with the Reds` league rivals Gateshead.

During his time at the Impact Arena, Callum will wear squad number 28.

He goes straight into the squad for Saturday’s relegation battle at Welling United.

Meanwhile, Alfreton Town wide midfield player Nathan Hicks has joined former club Leamington FC on loan until February 14th.
