Alfreton Town take a break from their league exertions when they travel to take on Nuneaton Town in an FA Trophy third qualifying round tie at Liberty Way on Saturday.

It is only the second ever FA Trophy tie between the sides with the other one being as recent as the 2013/14 season when Nuneaton triumphed 1-0 at the Impact Arena in a first round tie thanks to a 53rd minute Louis Moult goal.

The sides met recently in Vanarama National League North action with league leaders Nuneaton running out 2-0 winners in Warwickshire just three weeks ago.

Reds manager Nicky Law has no new injury worries and with no suspensions either, he has just Dan Bradley unavailable for the game.

As well as a place in Monday’s first round proper draw, there is £4,000 prize money for the winners of the tie.

Should a replay be required against Nuneaton, this will be staged at the Impact Arena on Tuesday (December 1), with a 7.45pm kick-off.
