The Reds will be aiming to get back to winning ways having had last Saturday’s game at Stalybridge Celtic postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, that coming just four days after the Reds had their thirteen-match unbeaten run in all competitions ended by a 3-2 home defeat by AFC Telford United.

There are no other injury or suspension issues to contend with as the Reds seek a sixth successive away win in the league although another tough game is in prospect as fourteenth-placed Worcester are unbeaten in their last four league outings with three draws and a win.

Worcester have also taken seven points out of the last nine at home, registering three successive clean sheets in the process.

Earlier in the season Alfreton edged the first game between the sides with a 2-1 victory at the Impact Arena back on September 15th thanks to early goals from Ryan Wilson and Jordan Robertson. Lee Hughes replied for City in the second half.
