Alfreton Town go in search of first win in seven at rock bottom Corby
The Reds will be looking for a first league win in seven games. However, Nicky Law’s side still have the best away form in the division being unbeaten on their travels in the last eight league games with draws in the last three trips being preceded by five wins.
Manager Law will have to wait for a late fitness checks on both Todd Jordan (ankle) and Ryan Wilson who has incurred a recurrence of a foot injury.

Corby go into the game in desperate need of some points to try and haul themselves out of the relegation zone. They are seven points adrift of safety having played a game more than Brackley Town in 19th place and there are just six league games left which means Saturday’s game against Alfreton is very much a must win game for Tommy Wright’s side.
The Steelmen have only won once in their last eight games at home are without a win in their last three games on home soil. A goalless draw at Steel Park against fellow relegation fighters Hednesford Town did neither side’s cause much good last Saturday.
In the reverse fixture at the Impact Arena on February 20th, Corby equalised a 19th minute Todd Jordan goal for Alfreton in the first minute of added time at the end of the second half when Ben Milnes’s goal ensured the points were shared.
Kick-off at Steel Park on Saturday is 3pm.
