Alfreton Town will be seeking a return to winning ways when they welcome Braintree Town to the Impact Arena for a Skrill Conference Premier clash on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds have lost their two most recent outings - at Wrexham in the FA Cup last Saturday and at Tamworth in the league on Tuesday night.

Returning home should aid Alfreton’s cause, given the fact that they have won seven of their nine games on their own turf this season.

However, that record is unlikely to overawe a Braintree side who have only lost once on the road thus far - in the process taking more points on their travels than any other side in the division. That said following a strong start which saw them lying in third after thirteen games they have since taken only five points in their last five games - which leaves them just a point better off than the Reds in seventh spot.

The Reds have only managed one victory in four league attempts against Saturday’s opponents, which came at the Impact Arena during the 2011/12 campaign.

Nicky Law’s men have no fresh injury concerns and will be buoyed by striker Paul Clayton’s brief cameo appearance from the bench against Tamworth, which followed a lengthy spell on the sidelines with an ankle injury.

With the Conference table as congested as it has ever been, putting together a strong run now could prove pivotal and Alfreton will be hopeful of regaining momentum on Saturday afternoon.

Admission for Saturday’s game has been drastically reduced. Adults (aged between 22 and 64) just £12, with concessions (65 and over) £10, a young adult (aged 17 to 21) is just £5 and children under 16 can get in for free provided that they are accompanied by a paying adult.

No Early Bird Match Tickets or Group Saver Match Tickets are available for this game.

Braintree Town fans can also take advantage of the reduced admission prices and although segregation is not in place for this fixture, visiting supporters are kindly requested to enter the stadium via the Alma Street turnstiles.

Alfreton Town have announced the admission prices for their forthcoming Derbyshire Senior Cup third round tie at home to Heanor Town on Tuesday, December 10th, 2013.

Normal league prices have been reduced down to £8 for adults and £4 for concessions for the game against the Lions.
