Fifteen-year-old Lily produced a strong backstroke performance to help the British mixed 4X100m medley relay squad into third place behind Russia and Italy. Her teammates were Oliver Crosby, Ciara Schlosshan and Scott MaLay.

In her individual 100m and 200m backstroke events, the City Of Sheffield club swimmer also swam consistently through the preliminary heats to reach the semi-finals. Now she is full of confidence ahead of the Youth Commonweath Games in the Bahamas later this year when she will represent England in a small squad of 12.
