These golds come hot on the heels of his success at the British Championships, also run by the BPO, where he landed another double in the bench press and deadlift.

Strength athlete Stone, who is coached by the nine-times world powerlifting champion, Phil Beniston, will now prepare for the International Powerlifting Federation’s Great Britain Championships, to be held in Wales next month, before he lifts as a star guest at a charity event in Ireland in November.
