Opening day winners Rolls Royce Leisure are looking to follow up their thumping of the Notts Academy side as they visit Caythorpe.

Rolls will be hoping Dan Birch and Tom Lungley continue where they left off.

The hosts, having opened up with a losing draw, will be looking for a bit more from their top order as they look to get on the winning side of the results column.

Kimberley Institute who pulled off a one wicket win in a low scoring affair at Cavaliers have their home opener at the 2bm Ground against Clifton Village.

Kimberley prevailed in a match that saw 19 wickets fall for just 181 runs. Clifton had the upper hand against Caythorpe but couldn’t quite complete the outright win.

After they were “Rolls-ed” first time out, the Notts Academy will be looking to bounce right back at Lady Bay against a Cuckney side that enjoyed a fairly comfortable opening day.

None of the Academy outfit were really able to get going against Rolls Royce, whilst Cuckney, despite being restricted to 144 bowled well enough to win by 43 runs against Ordsall.

It’s a battle of opening day losers at All Hallows Street as Ordsall Bridon welcome Plumtree for their first home game back in the Premier. Neither side will want to start the season of with back to back defeats so this should be a well contested match up.

Two more winless teams square off at Nottingham Road, where Radcliffe-on-Trent take on the defending champion West Indian Cavaliers.

Radcliffe suffered at the hands of Gareth Curtis last week, but thanks to a knock of 88 from Josh Mierkalns, were able to come out of the match with a draw.

The Cavs went from 38 for none to 90 all out against Kimberley, before seeing a 10th wicket stand of 22 consign them to defeat.

As with the match at Ordsall, both teams will want to get an early win under their belts.

All games are scheduled to commence at 12.30pm.
