Thirteen definitely not unlucky as Kimberley title charge continues
Kimberley Institute made it 13 out of 13 at the top of the Nottinghamshire Premier League with a seven-wicket win over Papplewick & Linby.
Bowling first, Kimberley made an electric start, reducing Papplewick to 2-2 before a fine 100 from Ben Shaw, supported by Robin Smith (35) and Finaly Moran (24) got Papplewick up to 175-5.

But Bacon then ripped through the lower order, finishing with 5-52 as Papplewick lost their last five wickets for just 17 runs to be all out for 192 in 43.1 overs.
Kimberley were 33-2 early on in their reply but a half-centuries from Rob Sutton (58), Harry Burnhill (50no) and Martin Weightman (53no) ensured they cruised home thereafter at 195-3 in 34.1 overs to maintain their 20-point lead at the top.
