Riddings lose last eight wickets for 24 runs in defeat to Pilsley and Clay Cross
John Worthy took six for 13 as Riddings collapsed to a three wicket defeat against Pilsley and Clay Cross in Division 6 N/E of the Derbyshire and County Cricket League.
Riddings were cruising at 85/2 off 10 overs and added further runs to reach 105/2.
But when Chris Steele  and Terry Gainey  were out they collapsed.
Gareth Hutton took 2 for 2 in four overs while man-of-the-match Worthy swept all before him.
Clay Cross made a cautious start with John Worthy  adding valuable runs.
Andy Aldis  and captain Tristan Bowers  kept the scoreboard ticking over.
When these two were out it got tight, but they steadily and safely got over the line with a four after 37.2 overs.
Riddings came into the game undefeated and top of the table with Pilsley and Clay Cross had no victory and were second bottom.
