Rain prevents play on opening day of Warwickshire v Nottinghamshire
Steady drizzle prevented play before lunch on the opening day of the LV=County Championship match between Warwickshire and Nottinghamshire at Edgbaston.
With unbroken, slate-grey cloud above, rain in the air and the light poor and unlikely to improve, the prospects of any play at all during the opening day are very slim.
An early lunch will be taken at 12.15pm during which the umpires will assess those prospects.
