Both sides are unbeaten so far this season, with Clifton having claimed back to back victories to add to their opening winning draw.

Welbeck suffered one of the abandonments last weekend and will be looking to get back on track.

Having kept up their 100 per cent record with a six wicket victory over Caythorpe, leaders Cuckney travel to face a Kimberley Institute side that has lost each of their last two fixtures.

Kimberley posted their best total of the season last week, but couldn’t convert that to a result while Cuckney had things almost as they wished.

Third place Rolls Royce Leisure go to Radcliffe-on-Trent, where they will be hoping to have packed their home form, with two wins out of two at Derby sandwiching a tame losing draw on their travels, while for Radcliffe it’s a question of backing up Josh Mierkalns’ bat and getting something into the ‘W’ side of the ledger.

Mansfield Hosiery Mills welcome West Indian Cavaliers to the Fieldings, where both sides will be looking to achieve a result.

Neither team was able to complete their matches last week, with MHM managing just 12 overs of their outing versus Plumtree.

Cavs will want the victory as they are already 23 points adrift of the top two.

On the back of that curtailed outing against Mansfield, Plumtree will hope to be inhospitable to their visitors as the struggling Notts Academy squad call at the PCG.

The Plums have one win and one loss on their record, while last weekend’s abandonment was the Academy’s best result of the young season.

Ordsall Bridon make the trip to Caythorpe coming off their best performance of the season so far. With their game against the Academy finely poised, the weather took over and caused it to be abandoned. Caythorpe have been good at home and poor away.

They will be hoping to bounce back from last week’s Cuckney trouncing and create a bit of leeway between themselves and the bottom reaches of the table.

All games are scheduled to commence at 12.30pm.
