The Notts Premier League goes back to the start for the 12th round of fixtures on Saturday, with the reverse of the opening day fixtures.

The weather has played havoc over recent weeks with several fixtures cancelled or abandoned leaving the league table with a bit of a split feel to it. Twelve points separate the top four teams, while there’s 19 between fifth and 12th. The gap between fourth and fifth however is 36 points.

Plumtree are the half way leaders, and they play host to Hucknall.

There were 203 runs between the sides last time, as Hassan Azad hit a century for Plumtree.

The Plums have lost their last three home matches so will have to be on guard against an improving Hucknall side.

Cuckney now sit in second place, three points behind Plumtree and facing a trip to Mansfield Hosiery Mills who have hauled themselves up seventh over the last couple of weeks.

The Bears have gone seven matches without losing, and will be looking to repeat the four wicket win over this opposition first time around.

For their part, Welbeck sit just one point above the relegation zone after a run of five matches without a win.

Notts Academy are the best of the rest in fifth, despite no win in five matches. They travel to Clifton Village, who have gone four games since losing.

Sixth placed Caythorpe have seen their last three matches cancelled, two of them at home, which possibly doesn’t bode well for the visit of Radcliffe-on-Trent.

The sides are four places and five points apart as the away side like to avenge their opening day defeat.
