Notts emergency services mock Aussies’ test score

The demolition of Australia at Trent Bridge this morning has not gone unnoticed by Nottinghamshire’s emergency services - who have taken to social media to mock the Aussies.

Both Nottinghamshire Fire and Nottinghamshire Police have joined in the banter for the fourth Ashes test in Nottingham, where England bowled out Australia for just 60 runs.

Among the heroes is England and Notts bowler Stuart Broad, who took a staggering eight wickets for just 15 runs during the short session.

And with social media alive with banter, the police wrote ‘We’re receiving reports of Aussies in trouble...#Ashes2015’.

This was swiftly followed up by Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service, who responded to one comment from a Twitter user about sending a crew to Trent Bridge because Stuart Broad was ‘on fire’.

They responded by saying ‘We’ll get someone down there as soon as possible, will you ask him to stop, drop and roll please? #Ashes2015’.
