More names added for Legends game at Welbeck
The attendance of Steve Harmison, Mark Ramprakash, Paul Nixon and Alex Tudor for the eye-catching match on August 29 against a Welbeck Invitational XI has already been confirmed.
And now the club can announce they will be joined by Under-19 World Cup-winning captain Shah, along with fellow Test stalwarts Shaun Udal, Dean Headley, Neil Fairbrother, Matthew Maynard and Jason Gallian, the former Nottinghamshire captain.

Welbeck have also announced the opposing Invitational XI team for the mouth-watering clash, which last year attracted more than 1,000 spectators.
Captained by Robert French, the five other home players selected are Andrew Marchant, David Hunt, Jono Ball, Richard Stroh and Riecko Parker-Coles.
Drafted in as guests from other clubs are David Willcock (Blidworth), Louis Sprigg (Clipstone), Martin Weightman (Clifton), Matt New (Mansfield Hosiery Mills) and Nick Langford (Cuckney).

Hide Ad“To get the opportunity to test yourself against the likes of Simon Jones, whose swing bowling terrorised the Aussies on the 2005 Ashes is absolutely brilliant,” said wicket-keeper Hunt, who played in the corresponding match last summer.
“I’m also looking forward to taking on the likes of Shaun Udal and Jason Gallian for the first time, and it’s great to see people like Dean Headley and Neil Fairbrother back at Welbeck once again.
“The Invitational side is a strong line-up, so we should be able to give the England Legends a run for their money, just as we did last year, and make it an exciting game to watch.”
An action-packed schedule of events will run from 12 noon ‘til late, with a junior kwik cricket tournament and a corporate hospitality three-course meal preceding the main match and a disco and live entertainment to follow it.

Hide AdThe day, sponsored by Greene King, has been organised with the help of the Professional Cricketers’ Association (PCA) and all proceeds will be invested back into the Warsop Sporting Trust, the not-for-profit organisation which runs the John Fretwell Complex.
Hunt added: “It’s going to be a memorable community day and it’s a great way to raise money for the Trust’s ongoing projects that benefit a whole host of people in our area.”
Tickets for the England Legends game are on sale now. Adults are priced at £5 in advance (£7 on the day), 11 to seven-year-olds are £3 (£5 on the day) and under 11s free.
