Cuckney knocked out of Dan Sutton Trophy after defeat to Kimberley
Kimberley chose to bat and may have regretted that decision at 46/3.
But Martin Weightman and Dominic Brown had other ideas, putting together a stand worth 76 to lay a platform.

Hide AdWeightman’s 80 ball half century came up in the partnership and he carried on, marshalling the lower order to a total of 200 for 9, of which 89 were his personal contribution.
Cuckney made a steady start to the chase, but the introduction of Liam Patterson-White seemed to precipitate something of a collapse.
He took 4 for 23, supported by two each for Dominic Brown and Alex King as the home side were scuttled for 98 in the 33rd over.
Kimberley’s win put them through to a semi-final and opened a door for Papplewick & Linby, who needed a win at home to Mansfield Hosiery Mills to progress.

Only Adam Dobb (30) put up any resistance as Chris Glover (3 for 16) and Richard Hodgkinson (3 for 22) led the charge.
Jim Rhodes and Pete Bhabra shared the other four wickets. Despite the loss of a couple of early wickets, the chase was over and done in the 29th over.
Ben Trevor-Jones (42*) shared in a stand worth 75 with Freddie McCann (29*) to see them home.
It means next week’s semi final line-up sees Kimberley Institute hosting Cavaliers & Carrington, whilst Radcliffe-on-Trent will welcome Papplewick & Linby.
