Barker among the wickets for Warwickshire against Notts
The left-armer took three wickets to reduce the visitors to 46 for three before James Taylor (53 not out) underpinned a partial recovery to 105 for four at lunch.
After only four overs play on the first two days, the match is doomed to a draw but there are still bonus points to play for in the quest for prize-money at stake for second and third places in Division One.

Hide AdAfter Nottinghamshire resumed today on 14 without loss, left-armer Barker soon struck from the Pavilion End.
A day after his first call-up to England’s Test squad, Alex Hales made just six before edging Barker to second slip. Steven Mullaney then fell for nought, caught in the gully off an inside-edge on to his pad, and Brendon Taylor was lbw to an inswinger for 24.
James Taylor offered some defiance, though he was dropped twice on 22, to go reach his half-century from 67 balls with nine fours. But he lost another partner in the last over before lunch when Rikki Wessels edged Jonathan Trott to wicketkeeper Tim Ambrose.
