Clumber Park have now won four in a row in the Cuckney Indoor Winter Cricket League.

They defeated Gizmaniacs after winning a last ball thriller with Ian Woodall striking the winning runs.

It is an excellent recovery for the team after they lost their first two matches of the season.

Despite going down to a heavy 71 run defeat to nearest rivals, Whitwell X Factor will qualify for the play-offs if they beat bottom of the league Langold and Whitwell lose to Gizmaniacs in the final week.

This is due to the fact that X Factor have taken twice the number of wickets as Whitwell and the formula of total runs scored times total wickets taken would give X Factor the edge.
