Brown tops weights at Holmedale Lake match
Martyn Brown, of Eastwood Angling Centre, won
Sherwood Forest Fishery’s Holmedale Lake match on 17th June with 134lbs 8ozs from peg three.
He used the pole with paste on one line and maggot on the other to land some carp up to 8lbs in the match fished by 14 anglers.
Runner-up Nigel Shipman, of Sherwood Forest Fishery, landed 102-3-0 on peg 25. Paul Unwin, of Gateford Angling Supplies, fished from peg 21 for his 96-7-0.
