Brown battles the elements for victory

Kev Brown battled the elements well to take the honours once again in James Maude Angling Club’s match at Little John Lakes’ Robin Hood Lake.

A bright start to the day turned against the competitors before the whistle was blown, with anglers battling against the conditions and coming off the back of the fish spawning.

From the off Kev fished over to the island from peg 10 and was into fish a steady stream of carp which helped him build a respectable weight.
