Biggest test so far for Huthwaite’s Nathan Kirk
Nathan Kirk, managed by Huthwaite-based trainer Scott Calow, faces his biggest test to date on Saturday when he takes on Kristian Laight, of Nuneaton, in the plush surroundings of the new Derby Arena.
The event will be televised with the undercard being shown on Spike TV and the main events on Channel 5.
Hennessy Sports are promoting the show, the main event being the middleweight British title fight between Nick Blackwell and Damon Jones.

“I have won my previous four fights, Scott Calow, my trainer/manager has poured all of his time and effort into me and has helped me improve fight after fight.
“The support from my sponsors, family and friends has been immense and I cannot wait to give them a great performance on the night. I am on weight, feeling sharp and ready to go.”
