Graham Headworth, Project Leader, thanked the two sponsors and said that the solar roof together with the rainwater harvesting equipment already installed, has put Mansfield Bowling Club at the forefront of ‘green’ bowling clubs in England and has already made a substantial contribution to reducing costs and generating cash.

The club hopes to receive £1,700 per year from the Government’s Feed In Tariff as well as having free water and electricity.
