Home opener Adam Dutton struck a half-century and Sam Wagstaff and Christopher Tindle hit 42 and 39 not out respectively.

Dutton and Wagstaff added 73 for the second wicket before Dutton and captain Andrew Edwards (31) put on 67 for the fourth wicket.

As the runs continued to flow, Tindle and Paul Benson put on an unbroken 46 for the ninth wicket.

In reply, Clipstone made 198 with eight batsmen making double figures. Althaf Anwardeen hit a run-a-ball 46, including four sixes, batting at number seven.

Edwinstowe’s bowling was led by Pascal Broadley, who returned figures of five for 47.

Blidworth Colliery Welfare (146) lost at home to Cuckney 2nds by seven wickets.

Captain Gareth Ellis and Tom Ramage both made 28 for Blidworth.

Mark Langford and Conor Tansley both took four wickets for the winners before a second-wicket partnership of 83 between Richard Bostock (60 not out) and opener David Taylor (32) laid the foundations for Cuckney’s victory.

Glapwell Colliery (225-8) lost to Notts & Arnold Amateur by one wicket. Thoresby Colliery (87) were beaten by eight wickets by visitors Anston.
